"The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that is the word of faith which we preach." This verse of scripture from Romans 10:8 along with many others helps us identify just exactly what faith is and what believing is.
As I've learned in our week long meetings is simple yet profound. If you want to measure your level of faith, listen to what's coming out of your mouth. Does what you say contradict the promises of God? Certainly you have to know what the promises of God are to even know if your words are lining up with them or not.
Once you see in the Word of God that blessing and not cursing, health and not sickness, joy and not depression, peace and not anxiety, provision and not poverty are God's promises for the believer, along with power, grace, authority, favor, and wisdom, you'll be able to gage more easily if you are in faith or not. For we speak out of our mouths what we believe. Everyone does including non-believers. So, if you want to know where you stand in your faith, start listening to yourself.
